Getting a Facelift

The Loft will be getting a facelift.  We will be closed the month of July for some much needed time off and also to give The Loft a little facelift.  We think a change is needed so we have the paint cans ready, new yarn to put on the shelves and new classes and knitting groups to line up starting in August.  Let's have a new Grand Opening the first week of August and throw in a sale!  We will be getting back to you on the details later.  It's July and we are supposed to be taking time off.  Check back with us the end of July by checking our web-site or join us on Twitter for updates.  We hope you all get rested up and ready to grab your needles!

Meet Us at the Briar Patch

 

Gayle and Jessica will be sharing a booth at the Briar Patch's annual Folk Art Gathering this Saturday from 9 am - 5 pm in Plymouth, IN.  Come out to the country and enjoy the flower gardens at the Briar Patch and shop from the booths of several artisans and antique dealers.  Jessica is busy stitching more of her "vintage flair for modern wear"  from vintage fabrics, and Gayle has been creating some beautiful new assemblage greeting cards and some very unique accessories from antique keys.

The Loft will be closed for the day on Saturday, but keep track of our hours for the following week on our twitter updates to the left.

Dishcloth Mania

This is also a new one that we are all trying at The Loft.  We aren't sure if it has a name or not but we call it "Honeycomb". 
This one is a lot of fun to knit and will knock the knitted socks off of your friends.  It's great for a special gift and the colors combinations are endless!

It's been a great Spring and now Summer is upon us. That's no reason to stop creating. There are many wonderful things to knit for summer. We have some great new yarns at The Loft. Wonderful baby yarns and cottons and it's a perfect time to catch up on those dishcloths you need for gifts and to freshen up your own kitchen. We will be closed the month of July to give The Loft a fresh lift. You can still call us if you need some yarn or a quick gift. We won't be having Knitting groups or Knit Nite during July though. It's a busy time for people on vacations and such too so we won't have a class schedule for the knittings. If you want a class and can round up three or four friends though, give us a call and we will arrange a class for you..... Have a Happy Summer!!!!
